Countdown to Confetti - Day 2

Hello there!  Today is day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti with the Reverse Confetti Crew!  All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store on June 8th!

 My card today features the new My Heart Trusts stamp set.  It is filled with several beautiful faith based sentiments in a gorgeous font combination!  I started off by ink blending Mustard Seed, Wild Honey and Picked Raspberry Distress inks with an ink blending tool.  For some added interest, I dripped some clean clear water over top of the cardstock and mopped it up after about 15 seconds with a paper towel.  I loved the bleached out water spots.  I used the dot border, from the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts to add two rows of tiny polka dots across the center of the card.  Then, using the Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts, I diecut the largest butterfly from one of the new By the Sea Quick Card Panels, the medium butterfly from vellum, and the next smallest from white cardstock.




I stacked the butterflies on top of each other, then bent them all in the middle and glued them together in the centers only so that the wings could  be bent forward for added dimension.  I heat embossed a sentiment from the My Heart Trusts stamp set under the butterflies, using white embossing powder.  To finish things off, I added a scattering of iridescent sequins, then popped the panel up on a white card base using foam tape.
