Pretzels and Beer! {Clear and Simple Stamps}

Hello there!!  TGIF!  Today I have a fun project to share with you just in time for the weekend!! :)  I pulled out some of my CSS Favorites release goodies and whipped up this little ensemble.  It came to me as my husband was relaxing and enjoying his favorite beverage and snack.  This project was a fun one for me... I don't do many masculine cards because I struggle with them, but I am quite pleased with this one.

First a card using the new By the Glass dies and the By the Glass Too stamp set.  I also used Background Basics 1 and an older limited edition Celebrate stamp set.

And what goes better with beer than pretzels? *wink*

This little box is the Party Favors 8.  I cut a window using the Shapes: Squares dies and then adhered piece of clear acetate using the Simple Adhesive.  This favor box is so fun, especially when you use double sided pattern paper! :)

And here you can see the box closed :)

You can click on each of the pictures to show more detail... I seem to have issues with  blurry pics if I enlarge them through blogger...

That's all for now... Hope you have a great weekend!!  Thanks for stopping by :)

Boxes, Bags and Bows {Clear and Simple Stamps}

Hello there!!  It's group post day with Clear and Simple Stamps, and this week's challenge was to create a trio of goodies, packaged up using any of CSS' Favor Boxes or clear packaging offerings.

I chose to work with the By the Glass set and new matching dies along with the 3" flat bottom candy bags.  Whenever I hear of someone drinking a Mojito, I giggle on the inside... I immediately think of feet... and with that in mind, comes today's project - A pedicure kit.  Moji-TOES. *wink*

Inside of each Flat Bottom Candy Bag, I put a bottle of nail polish, some toe spacers, a nail file, and orange stick, some nail clippers and finally, a few packets of Crystal Light Mojito drink mix.  What's more fun than sipping an ice-cold beverage while getting a pedi?!

I used the insert portion of the Tri-Fold 2 die as a tag.  I made patterned paper using images the Taglines: By the Glass and the original Taglines set, a snipet of the small Eyelet border, then I diecut and stamped the tall glass image from By the Glass, adding some icecubes and lime slices to each glass.  I fussy cut the straws and added some diamond Stickles for some sparkle, then adhered each to their tag using foam squares.  The sentiment on each tag was stamped using the Alpha Duo stamp set.  Then I attached the tag with some Sterling Silver Cord.

I love the versatility in these sets... They are perfect for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage gifts... perfect for a fun summer card, or for anything else you might be able to think up!  I am excited to give these little gifts away... I had so much fun making them!

Pinspired Challenge #5

Hey there!  It's Tuesday and that means it's time for another Pinspired Challenge!  I really love the inspiration photo for this challenge... so may possibilities!

The sponsor for this challenge is It's Always Fabulous!

For my card,  I used Paper Smooches Cut Loose.  The triangles of the kite reminded me of the triangles in the quilt pattern.  I also went with a similar color scheme.

CSS Favorites Release {Clear and Simple Stamps}

WOOHOO!!  It's release day over at Clear and Simple Stamps!  This is a mini release which will revisit some old favorites and hopefully, with a few additions to the lineup, rekindle your love for some great older stamp sets!  For my project today, I am using a few of the new goodies and some new to me sets.  By the Glass and By the Glass Too have been on my wishlist for a long while now... and with the addition of matching dies and mini versions in the form of a new Taglines set, I had to have the By the Glass sets... like NOW.  I don't know why I waited so long... I kind of love them.

My project started with a sentiment from the new Taglines: By the Glass set.  A 'tini note of thanks.  How cute is that!?  And we all know things are cuter in tiny version... especially mini cards.  This little greeting measures 3" x 4".  The drink glasses are from the original By the Glass and By the Glass Too sets.  I used the new By The Glass dies and did some fussy cutting as well.  See that cute little open scallop border?  That is the new Eyelet Border dies!  There is a set of 2 - one large and one small.  I used the small one for this project.

To finish off my ensemble, I used the adorable little Cube die and a Tags 1 diecut with an image from the Taglines: By the Glass set.  The bubble image on the box is from the original By the Glass set.

For Reenee's card, I used Cart Pals: Baby, Cart Parts, Taglines and the new Eyelet Border :)
