It's Your Day! Go Wild! {Hello Bluebird Stamps}

Hello there!  Today, I have a card to share with you using some adorable products from Hello Bluebird!

To create my card, I started off by covering an A2 card base with two different patterned papers from my stash.  I am on a mission to use up scraps, and mixing different papers like this is a great way to do it! :)  Then, I diecut a bunch of leaves from two different shades of green cardstock using the Tropical Foliage die.  I arranged them along the edge of the two different papers, gluing some leaves down flat with a glue pen, and popping others up with foam tape.  I stamped and colored the adorable monkey from the Jungle Littles stamp set and diecut him with the Jungle Littles dies.

Go Wild

I stamped a sentiment from the Jungle Littles stamp set onto black cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I popped the sentiment banner and monkey up with foam tape.  To finish things off, I added some white gel pen accents, and darkened his eyes and nose with a black glaze pen.

Go Wild

That's all for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop

Hello there!  It's the 8th of the month, and that means it's time for the Reverse Confetti June blog hop!  This month, we have a Summer Fun theme!  I don't know about you, but when I think of summer, I think immediately about the 4th of July.  I pulled out some of my favorite products and created a fun star spangled card!

To create my card, I started off with an A2 card base cut from Premier Polar White cardstock.  On top of that, I layered a Big Stripes Cover Panel cut from Salsa cardstock.  For my next layer, I cut the Polka Panel from Navy cardstock and backed that with white before adding it to my card front.  For my focal point, I pulled out my Fa La La Circle Confetti Cuts dies and diecut the pinked edge circle from some Warm Heart patterned paper.  I diecut the smaller circle from that die set from white cardstock.  In the center of the white circle, I stamped a sentiment from the Because of the Brave stamp set in Navy ink.  For some added detail and another pop of red, I bordered each side of the sentiment with the herringbone pattern from the Pattern Blocks stamp set, stamped in Salsa ink.

Stars & Stripes Forever

And it's not 4th of July without a little sparkle!  I added a trio of stars by diecutting the two sizes of scribble stars from the Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts die set out of gold glitter paper and then added a scattering of metallic gold sequins to finish off my card.

Stars & Stripes Forever

Reverse Confetti June Stock Your Stash Challenge

Hello there!  Today starts a new month, and that means a new SYS Challenge at Reverse Confetti!  This month's theme is Hello/Just Because :)

To create my card, I started off with a 4.25" square card base.  I ink blended a blue ombre background which fades up into white.  To the bottom of that panel I added a strip of patterned paper from the Cheerful & Kind paper pad.  On top of that, I added a Blocked Out Square Confetti Cuts Panel, cut from Premier Polar White cardstock.  I stamped and colored the piggy pair from the Cured stamp set and diecut them and their little fence with the coordinating Cured Confetti Cuts dies.  On top of one of the piggies, I perched a tiny bird from the All About Ewe stamp set.

Oh Hello There

For my sentiment, I stamped one of the talk bubbles from the Figure of Speech stamp set in Midnight ink onto Premier Polar White cardstock and diecut it with the coordinating Figure of Speech Confetti Cuts dies.

Oh Hello There

I hope you will play along with us and Stock You Stash! :)

Thanks for stopping by!! :)
