Sunny Studio Stamps - Spring Greenery

Hello friends! Today, I have a fun card to share with you using the Spring Greenery dies.  They pair so well with many other Sunny Studio products!  I used them today with the Cherry Blossoms stamp set and Lovey Dovey sentiments!  To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25".  I splattered the panel with black watercolor.  Then, I stamped some of the Cherry Blossoms and leaves in bright colors, and diecut them with the coordinating Cherry Blossoms dies.

I diecut some of the Spring Greenery from white cardstock and arranged my bouquet before gluing some pieces flat and popping others up for some dimension.  The sentiment from the Lovey Dovey stamp set is stamped in black in and diecut with the coordinating Lovey Dovey Dies.  I popped that up on foam tape, and added so black centers to the flowers using black Nuvo Drops before popping the panel up on an A2 card base.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Bunnyville

Hello friends! I am here with a sweet Easter themed card using products from Sunny Studio Stamps!  To create this card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25".  I masked off the bottom part of the panel and blended above the mask with Tumbled Glass distress ink, then moved the mask and blended below the Tumbled Glass with Twisted Citron distress ink.  I splattered on some clean water to bleach out some spots.  Then, I stamped and colored several images from the adorable Bunnyville stamp set, and diecut  them with the coordinating Bunnyville dies.

I arranged my scene on the panel, and adhered some with a glue pen and popped up some pieces with foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment from the set above the scene, and added a trio of diecut clouds using the Comic Strip Everyday die set.  Before popping the panel up on an A2 card base, I added a strip of pastel striped pattered paper from the Spring Sunburst 6x6 paper pad.  To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Lovey Dovey

Hello friends! Today, I am here with a Lovey Dovey card to share with you using some of the spring collection from Sunny Studio Stamps!  To create this card, I started out with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25".  I stamped a sentiment from the Lovey Dovey stamp set in black ink and then used the coordinating dies to cut a post-it note to mask off the sentiment.  Then, I used the Pink Peonies stamp set to stamp flowers and leaves around the sentiment.  I masked off each flower and stamped the leaves for an almost one layer card.  I colored the images with the Tombow ABT PRO Alcohol Markers, in the red and green sets, which were kindly sent to me for my review.  The colors are bright and vibrant, and I love the brush tip.  They blend well and work nicely in combination with the Copic Markers.

When everything was colored, I splattered on some white watered down acrylic paint before removing the mask that I had placed over the sentiment.  Before popping the panel up on a white A2 card base, I added a strip of coordinating striped paper from the All is Bright 6x6 paper pad.  To finish off my card, I added a scattering of sparkling clear sequins.

Reverse Confetti February Creative Hop!

Hello there!  It's the 8th of the month, and that means it's time for the Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop!  I absolutely could not resist pulling out of my favorites from the January release (and one of my favorites of the entire Reverse Confetti collection), Hello Daisy!  I love that these gorgeous florals look so different depending on how you color them, and how you place them on your card front!

To create my card, I started off with a piece of lavender cardstock to create an A2 card base, and then diecut a piece of the same color using the Brilliance Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die.  I used Dusty Concord Distress Ink to darken the edges and corners of the panel, and then splattered on some clean clear water and pearl white watercolor.  I stamped and colored the Hello Daisy flowers with my copic markers in shades of violet, blue violet and red violet and popped it up on the panel with foam tape.

I stamped the large "hello" sentiment from the set in black ink and diecut it with the coordinating Hello Daisy Confetti Cuts.  I stacked three diecuts together for extra dimension without having to use foam tape.  Then, I stamped a smaller sub-sentiment from the Word Up stamp set on a banner and tucked that underneath the statement sentiment.  To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents and a tiny clay heart at the end of the banner.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Quilted Hearts Background

Hello friends! Today, I am here with a fun card to share with you using the new Quilted Heart Portrait Background dies from Sunny Studio Stamps.  To create my card, I started off with a medium purple A2 card base.  I diecut the Quilted Hearts Portrait Background from lighter purple cardstock and layered them on top of each other.  To ground my scene, I added a strip of striped patterned paper from the Dots and Stripes Pastel paper pad.  Along the top edge of that patterned paper, I added a strip of diecut grass and a white picket fence, both found in the Picket Fence die set.

Then, I stamped the bicycle from the Paris Afternoon stamp set, colored it with Copic markers and diecut it with the coordinating Paris Afternoon Dies.  I added a trio of tiny clouds from the Comic Strip Everyday die set to the sky, and stamped a sentiment from the Critters on the Go stamp set onto a white diecut banner. To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents.
