Countdown to Confetti Day 1 - Word Up & Hatbox Florals

Hello there!  Welcome to day 1 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new goodies that we will be showcasing over the next few days will be available for purchase in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on March 8th!

I have a pair of cards to share with you today, and the first uses the brand new Word Up stamp set and Hooray & Cheers Confetti Cuts dies.  To create my card, I started off with diecutting a piece of Polar White cardstock using the Diagonal Stitched Cover Panel.  I placed the panel in my MISTI stamping tool and stamped several sentiments from the Word Up stamp set in Midnight ink.  Then, I diecut the new Horray word diecut three times from Midnight cardstock and once from white cardstock and stacked them together using a glue pen.  I used the Congratulations Confetti Cuts die set to diecut streamers from several different colors of cardstock, and added a scattering of flat sequins to add some more fun to the card.

Word Up

I love the dimension of the large word die.  Stacking several diecuts together gives you some height without having to cut tiny pieces of foam tape.

Word Up

My second card uses several new products from the release.  To create my card, I started off by diecutting a piece of white cardstock using the Linked Circles Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die, then adhered that to a white card base.  I added a stitched frame using the new Stitched Note & Frame Confetti Cuts die, cut from Flamingo cardstock.  I diecut the new Stitched Hex Tag from white cardstock and used it to ground my focal point.  The gorgeous floral image is from the Hatbox Florals stamp set, which I colored with Copic markers and diecut with the coordinating Hatbox Florals Confetti Cuts dies.

Hatbox Florals

I popped the floral image up with foam tape, and just above it, for my sentiment, I diecut the new Mom & Dad Confetti Cuts die from Flamingo cardstock.  I diecut it three times and stacked it together, then glued it to the top of the tag, just above the image.  To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents.

Hatbox Florals

That's all for me,  but be sure to leave me a comment and hop along to the see what the rest of the Confetti Crew has to share with you today!  Comment along the way for a chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate!

Happy Hopping!   See you tomorrow! :)
