PTI: Make it Monday Challenge: Vellum Sentiment Strip

This week's PTI Make it Monday Challenge is to create a project using a Vellum sentiment strip. Click the box above to be linked to the challenge.

For this card, I also tried another new technqiue. I took a plain paper doily, and colored in the holes of the doily and then traced the outline and cut it out. There were gaps of space, so I stamped a tiny little heart in those places to fill them. I also used one of my favorite PTI stamp sets, Flutterby Friend.

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Flutterby Friend, Little Bitty Bird, Love Loves Here
Paper: Soft Stone CS, Hibiscus Burst CS
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Other: Paper Doily (to trace), Copic Makers, Sakura Stardust Pen, Vellum Paper, Kaisercraft Rhinestones, Pop Dots

Holy crow Audrey, what a cool look that colored/cut doily gives! I love that you used it like a stencil!

Wow, looks like you already have doily-fever. This is an adorable card with Flutterby Friend. This one is so sweet colored as you did.

Very cool. The new doily treatment/technique really worked out well. It looks almost watercolored. Gold!

I missed this post - what a COOOOL colored doily! Before I saw your description I kept thinking - now what doily stamp is THIS? You are so inventive, Audrey!
