PTI March Blog Hop - High Gloss

Hi there!  So sorry it's been quiet here... My boys and husband were all on break last week, and we stayed pretty busy!  I jumped at the chance to get back in my craft room yesterday though, and made a card for the PTI March Blog Hop.

I embossed Circle Scribbles on some Raspberry Fizz cardstock using clear embossing powder.  The paint brushes from Friendship Jar Fillers are stamped on the new Journal Card 2 diecut.  I splattered some watered down Picked Raspberry Distress Ink on the panel, and added some gloss to the paint brushes using Glossy Accents.

Art from the Heart

Here you can see a better picture of the gloss both on the background and the paint brushes.

I can't wait to see what others created for this fun challenge! :)
That's all for now... thanks for stopping by!

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Circle Scribbles, Friendship Jar Fillers
Paper: White, Raspberry Fizz
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Picked Raspberry Distress, Tea Dye Duo
Dies: Journal Card 2
Other: Copic Markers, Copic Multiliner, Glossy Accents, Foam Squares

Love your artsy card Audrey! Your embossed circles are subtle and don't detract from the main focus of the card. I really like seeing older sets mixed with the new. Nice work!

Great coloring on the paintbrushes - the gloss finish is perfect and pairing this image with the scribbled circles on the base is genius!

Love! Love that you used the paintbrushes (I don't think I've used mine yet - horrors!), love the glossy "paint" on the brushes, love the journal card (note to self: put on wish list), love the double lines around the journal card. Well done!!
