Papertrey Ink Sketch Recipe Challenge

Hi there!
It's anniversary time over at PTI, and I am trying to get caught up on some of their challenges.  Today, I have a card to enter into their Sketch Recipe Challenge.  The challenge was to choose a sketch and color palette and create something using both together.

I chose this sketch:

And this color palette:

I pulled out my Doodlie-Do set (AGAIN!) and an old favorite, Dot Spot.  I have not been able to stop using  that Doodlie-Do set.  I just love it to pieces!!  I used the largest image from Dot Spot, stamped in Aqua Mist ink, then stamped, colored and fussy cut the flower and leaves.  The sentiment is from Tremendous Treats Birthday and is stamped on a Double Ended Banner diecut.  Then I added a hand drawn border and a sprinkling of sequins!

PTI Sketch recipe

That's all for now... thanks for stopping by! :)

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Dot Spot, Doodlie Do, Tremendous Treats Birthday
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Aqua Mist
Paper: SS White, Hawaiian Shores
Dies: Double Ended Banner
Other: Copic Markers, 0.5 black pen, Avery Elle Berry Blend Sequins

Audrey, beautifully colored card. And I like your hand drawn border, too. Now if I did that free hand it would look like a toddler did it (heck, the toddler's might be better than mine).

I love these colors! Dot Spot makes a great background for the flower and I love your doodled frame. :)

Love how you used Dot Spot in the background. I bet this would look great behind a variety of flowers. Thanks for the inspiration!!
