Hello there! It's the 8th of the month, and that means it's time for the Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop! I absolutely could not resist pulling out of my favorites from the January release (and one of my favorites of the entire Reverse Confetti collection), Hello Daisy! I love that these gorgeous florals look so different depending on how you color them, and how you place them on your card front!
To create my card, I started off with a piece of lavender cardstock to create an A2 card base, and then diecut a piece of the same color using the Brilliance Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die. I used Dusty Concord Distress Ink to darken the edges and corners of the panel, and then splattered on some clean clear water and pearl white watercolor. I stamped and colored the Hello Daisy flowers with my copic markers in shades of violet, blue violet and red violet and popped it up on the panel with foam tape.
I stamped the large "hello" sentiment from the set in black ink and diecut it with the coordinating Hello Daisy Confetti Cuts. I stacked three diecuts together for extra dimension without having to use foam tape. Then, I stamped a smaller sub-sentiment from the Word Up stamp set on a banner and tucked that underneath the statement sentiment. To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents and a tiny clay heart at the end of the banner.
That's all for me today, but be sure to hop along and see what the rest of the team has to share with you today! We hope you are inspired! :) Thanks for stopping by!!
