Getting to know Clear and Simple Stamps...

Awhile back, Clear and Simple Stamps posted on their facebook page asking people what they wanted to know about CSS.  Of course, I always have questions.  I emailed them asking what the most popular CSS product is.  It really wasn't a real surprise to me that there is no one favorite (CSS has so many awesome products!) but rather, 5 different groups of super popular products:
The card I have to share with you today uses a little something from 3 of the 5 categories.

You will find two Ragdolls, Emma: Happy and Jake: Cool, as well as the Shapes: Heart Combo and Background Basics 1.

Be sure to stop by the CSS Blog today for more info about the most popular CSS products!

I also have a Ragdoll project featured on the CSS APP today!  Click on the peek below to be taken to the full version! :)

Stamps: CSS Ragdoll: Emma Happy, Ragdoll: Jake Cool, Background Basics I, Cart Pals: Occasions

Make a Wish {The Alley Way Stamps}

Switching gears from the Christmas crafting and sharing a birthday card with you today.  The new set, Petal Pushers, from The Alley Way Stamps, is filled with a bunch of little bits and pieces that can be used for a multitude of occasions.  It is so much more than just another floral stamp set.  For this card, I used a stamp that is intended to be a flower center, but I used it to create a fun patterned paper.  The sentiment was created using the Alphabet Soup stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Eeeek.  Six days til Christmas.  Only 6.  I am SO not ready.  Today, I have a holiday card to share with you using the new Love Knots set from The Alley Way Stamps, along with Fa-La-La, a super fun Christmas set.

I stamped the wood grain image with brown ink on to white cardstock, and then used Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink to give it the stained look.  The stockings are stamped, colored, cut out and popped up on foam squares.

Friends Warm the Heart {Lawn Fawn Stamps}

It's true... Friends warm the heart.  No doubt about it.  I made this card for my friend Denise... one who truly warms my heart.  I pulled out a set that I haven't used yet this season...  Lawn Fawn's Making Frosty Friends.  It's one of my favorites!  I have been hoarding this pattern paper forever (circa 2004) and thought this was the perfect project to use it on.  I don't get much chance to create in PINK, and boy did I enjoy it! :)  Who says snowmen cards have to be blue?!?! *wink*

Christmas Tree Pickin' {Clear and Simple Stamps}

Good Saturday Morning to you!  It is the weekend, and with Christmas in a little over 3 weeks (YIKES!!) it is time for our annual tree pickin' trip.  Since we live in Florida, I can not drag my children through the snow in freezing cold temperatures to cut down our tree (like my parents used to do to us!), so instead we will brave the Home Depot parking lot.  *wink*  To get myself in the mood, I came up with a little tree shack for the Clear and Simple Ragdolls.  I used Ragdoll Emma: Happy, Ragdoll Coats 1, Ragdoll: Stand and Cart Pals: Occasions.

(Click to enlarge)

I will also be entering this in the Young Crafters Unite Challenge #16 - Happy Holidays

So off we go...  Looking forward to a great weekend... A holiday craft fair with my mom, some Christmas shopping, lunch with my boys (big and little) and then off to find the perfect Christmas tree.  I love this time of year! :)  Thanks for stopping by! :)
