Bee Happy & Otter Friends {Hello Bluebird}

Hello there!  Today, I have two fun cards to share with you using the new July release from Hello Bluebird!  They've done it again with another adorable collection!

First up is a card using my favorite stamp set from the release, Bee Happy.  To create my card, I started off with a bright yellow A2 card base.  On top of that, I layered a piece of black and white wipe striped patterned paper from my stash.  I stamped and colored three of the four bees from the set, the honey jar, and the cute strawberry vine, then diecut everything with the coordinating Bee Happy dies.  I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a hand cut banner, and popped everything up with foam tape.

Next came my favorite part... the fun finishing touches!  I added Diamond Stickles to the bee wings, some glossy accents to the geeky bee's glasses, Rock Candy Stickles to the honey jar, and white gel pen accents.

Next up, Otter Friends!  I started off by diecutting a piece of watercolor paper to add a stitched edge.  Then, using my Artist's Loft watercolors from Michaels, I watercolored a bit of water for my otter to float in.  When it was dry, I spattered on some white acrylic paint, and stamped the waves from the set ink dark teal ink.  I stamped and colored one of the otters, a tiny present and a trio of little fish and fussy cut them out.  Then I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a hand cut banner, and popped everything up with foam tape.

I added some white gel pen accents, black glaze pen to his eyes and nose, and used some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to add some water bubbles around the otter and his fish friends, then popped the panel up onto a white card base.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 3: Greatest Adventure

Hello, hello!  It's day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new release goodies will be available on July 8th in the Reverse Confetti store and at all of your favorite retailers!

Today, we are showcasing my favorite stamp set from this release, Greatest Adventure!

To create my card, I started off with an A2 case base cut from Premier Polar White cardstock. On top of that, I added another white layer using the new Striped Circle Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die.  To ground my focal point, I added a strip of orange polka dot paper from the new Cue the Confetti paper pad.  These papers are my favorite yet from Reverse Confetti!  I squealed out loud when I opened my box (and I bet you will too)!!  I stamped the teepee from the Greatest Adventure stamp set, along with the adorable fox and raccoon, and diecut them with the coordinating Greatest Adventure Confetti Cuts dies. Just behind them, I added two trees from the set, which I colored in shades of dark blue.  I love that, turned on their side, they look like a tribal design.

Below the teepee and cute little camping pair, I added a sentiment from the same set, stamped on a banner from the Flowers For Mom Confetti Cuts die set, in midnight ink.  Finally, I added some white gel pen accents and a trio of tiny wooden stars to finish off my card.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 2: Mod Floral Stack & Pattern Builder

Hello there!  It's day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti!  Today, we are showcasing the new Pattern Builder and Mod Floral Stack stamp sets!

To create my card, I started off with a Premier Polar White card base.  To the left side of the card base, I added a strip of patterned paper from the new Cue the Confetti paper pad.  I diecut the new Geo Panel Confetti Cuts from white cardstock, and snipped the bottom pair of squares off.  I stamped the Pattern Builder in three different colors, using light and dark inks for each section.  I used Iced Aqua & Lagoon, Peach & Tangerine, and Piggy Bank & Magenta.

I popped the medallion up in the center of the Geo Panel using foam tape.  Then, I diecut the banner from the Flowers For Mom Confetti Cuts die set out of white cardstock, and stamped a sentiment from the new Mod Floral Stack stamp set in Lagoon ink.  To finish off the center of the medallion, I added a pretty teal button to match the sentiment.
