Paper Smooches January Challenge #2

Hello there!  Its time for another Paper Smooches challenge!  This challenge run from January 15th through January 28th and the winners will be announced on the 30th or 31st of January!

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes!  I pulled out my Sunnyville stamp set and an older favorite of mine, Positive Strokes Two.  I started off stamping the painted stripes from Positive Strokes Two in shades of Distress Oxide inks to coordinate with the Rainbow Sherbet patterned paper pad.  Then, I stamped and colored images from Sunnyville with copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating Sunnyville Icons dies.  I arranged them over top of the striped area and popped them up with foam tape.  Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Kindness Sampler on a Bannerific diecut and tucked that underneath the sun and cloud.  I added white gel pen accents and a scattering of sequins to the panel before popping it up on an A2 card base.  See that fun patterned paper on the left edge?  It's a snippet from the Rainbow Sherbet paper collection, which I LOVE! :)

Reverse Confetti January Blog Hop

Hello!  It's the 8th of the month and that means that the new release from Reverse Confetti is available for purchase NOW!  I have one more card to share with you using goodies from this release!

To create my card, I started off with an A2 card base cut from Polar White cardstock.  On top of that, I layered the new Oh My Heart Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die, also cut from Polar White.  Then, I added some black watercolor splatters.  I stamped and colored images from the new Cheerful Pals and OMG stamp sets and diecut them with the coordinating Cheerful Pals Confetti Cuts dies and OMG Confetti Cuts dies.  Before popping the images up with foam tape, I added a strip of the Sweet As Sugar patterned paper near the bottom of the card panel.

A sentiment from the OMG stamp set was stamped on a strip of white cardstock, and popped up under the other images.  To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents.

Hello there!  Welcome to day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new goodies that the Confetti Crew will be showcasing over the next few days will be available tomorrow, January 8th at Reverse Confetti and at your favorite retailers!

Today, I am showing off my favorite projects and products of this release - Crafty Critters and Flowers for a Friend :)

To create this card, I started off  by watercoloring a background with a bright blue shade.  To the bottom of the panel, I added a piece of Sweet as Sugar paper pad.  I stamped and colored a few images from the Flowers For A Friend stamp set, and diecut them with the coordinating Flowers For a Friend Confetti Cuts dies.  I popped them up on the panel with foam tape.

Flowers for Friends 1

For the sentiments, I pulled out an older set, Figure of Speech, and paired it with a smaller sentiment from a new set, So Very Lovely.  To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and tiny clay hearts from my stash.

Flowers for Friends 2

Next up, a set of watercolored tags using the Crafty Critters stamp set.  I watercolored a few pieces of watercolor paper, and when it was dry, I diecut it with the Stitched Hex Tag Confetti Cuts.  I used the strip of hearts from the new Hearts Confetti Cuts die set to ground the critters.  I stamped and colored all of the images from the Crafty Critters stamp set with Copic markers and diecut them with the coordinating Crafty Critters Confetti Cuts dies.  I popped them up with foam tape, and stamped sentiments from the set on a Bitty Banner diecut.

Today, my card features the new Butterfly Wreath stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Wreath Confetti Cuts, and the new Stitched Scallops Cover Panel Confetti Cuts.  I first diecut the scalloped panel from Polar White cardstock, and inked up the bottom with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.  I added a strip of patterned paper from the Darling Dots paper pad, and a sliver of gold glitter paper from my stash.  I stamped and colored the Butterfly Wreath and the two stand alone butterflies from the set with copic markers and diecut them with the Butterfly Wreath Confetti Cuts dies.  They were popped up with foam tape.

Hello there!  Welcome to day 1 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new goodies that the Confetti Crew will be showcasing over the next few days will be available on January 8th at Reverse Confetti and at your favorite retailers!

Today, my card features the new All the Love stamp set, coordinating All the Love Confetti Cuts dies and the fun new Hearts Confetti Cuts dies. To create my card, I started off with a piece of Polar White cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25".  I used the Hearts Confetti Cuts dies to diecut the striped heart in the center of the panel, then splattered the panel with gold watercolor before backing the heart with a piece of patterned paper using the new Sweet as Sugar paper pad.  I stamped Hugs & Kisses from the All the Love stamp set in Midnight ink and diecut the sentiment with the coordinating All the Love Confetti Cuts dies.  I popped the sentiment up over top of the diecut heart opening using foam tape.

To add a bit more red to the card front, I used the row of hearts die from the Hearts  Confetti Cuts die set, and cut it twice from Salsa cardstock to frame the sentiment.  I added white gel pen accents and a scattering of gold sequins before popping the entire panel up on an A2 white card base.
