Guest Designing for Sweet Stamp Shop!

I am SO excited to share a fun project with you today! I have been asked to guest design for the Sweet Stamp Shop today, and was lucky enough to get to be part of their teaming up with Petaloo and Core'dinations for some fun back to school projects.

Here is my little back to school ensemble! I used the new Under the Sea (LOVE!) stamp set for my projects.

It all started with a trip to Target. Believe it or not, that is how alot of my projects start! *wink* I came across new special edition Crayola Crayons called "Mermaid Shimmer".

Then I found a spiral sketch book that just so happened to have a submarine on the front in the same color theme as the mermaid crayons... With the help of the Core'dinations cardstock and Under the Sea, this altered notebook was born. I love the colored core in the Core'dinations cardstock... it really adds so much dimension and texture to the project.

Using the new set called Pattern Craze along with the coordinating Shape-tastic Hexagon dies, I made a little seahorse tag to bundle together some fun glittery pencils. You will notice the distressed edges of the tag... that was super easy using the Core'dinations sanding block! It may be hard to see in the pictures, but I also distressed each of the mermaid's tails using the sanding block.

And, finally, a little mini card to go with everything... perfect for a first day of school present for any little girl.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to hop on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog to check out all of the school themed goodness happening over there! :)

Cute projects, Audrey. I like the torn cardstock on your card. I have never mastered tearing cardstock. I like when other stampers make it look so nice. When I use that technique it just does not look nice - it's a big mess.
