PTI Make It Monday #55 - Creating Large Frames

Whew! It has been awhile since I participated in the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challege. This week, Challenge #55 is all about making large frames from small frame stamps. It is something that I never thought to do, and it is SO easy. I decided to break out my new PTI order which included the new Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and dies and Raspberry Fizz Pattern Paper Pack. The frame image is from the Fillable Frames Additions #1. This frame fits the Fillable Frames #3 die. The sentiment is from the Happy Day stamp set.

The Liebster Award

Happy St. Patrick's Day Smartypants!

I got some much needed time in my craft room yesterday, and luckily, I have lots of new goodies to play with! :) We really don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but some of my family in Pennsylvania celebrates hardcore... Well, any excuse to send them a card and tell them all how much I love and miss them! I used a bunch of stamps from different companies for this card. The chevrons are from the new Paper Smooches CHA release (available 3/1) and they are part of a set called Geo-Graphic, designed by Karolyn Loncon. You can see more about the set here. The adorable little "geek" is from Paper Smooches Smartypants set (also available 3/1). The shamrock is from the new Owl See You in Spring by Jenny Suchin for The Craft's Meow. The "geek" is holding a pointer originally, but with a swipe of a babywipe, it was erased and that left room for the shamrock. The sentiment and leprechaun hat are from the Hats Off To You set by Lawn Fawn. I had SO much fun with this card! :)

Squeee! I LOVE Paper Smooches!

Happy Saturday everyone! In case it isn't pretty obvious here on my blog, I must profess my love for Paper Smooches Stamps. I am a member of their monthly stamp club which means that I get the new releases about a week before they are actually available in the store. It also means that by committing to the membership, I buy the stamps blindly. I don't know what's coming until Kim sends the email... but that's ok because no matter what it is, if it has the Paper Smooches name on it, I will want it! LOL! One of the March releases (not the CHA release, just the monthly release) is called Zoo Crew. Well, I must say it is definately my favorite of the three new sets, but the others are pretty awesome too. I couldn't wait to ink up this adorable little Zebra from the set. And aren't the zebra print hearts adorable too?!?! *LOVE* The sentiment and the party hat are from Party Posse. You will be able to find Zoo Crew here on March 1st. The super fun patterned paper is the new Raspberry Fizz Patterned Paper Pack from Papertrey Ink. YUM!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge - [ 2.23 - 3.7 ]

It's time again for another Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge! The new inspiration photo (above) screamed "masculine" to me, which was perfect because I was needing to make a birthday card for my dad. Love killing two birds with one stone! :) I had alot of fun with this one... :) I used a bunch of Paper Smooches sets including Smoocheroos, My Guy, Surf and Turf , and Spiffy Scooters.

Yep, this is another reject. LOL! For this card, I used Paper Smooches Spring Fling and for the painted hearts, the steam swirls from Hot Concoctions. The sentiments is one of my very favorites, and that is from Word Salad.

Easter Wishes

Hello all! Life has been crazy busy lately... not much crafty time, and I am going through withdrawls! LOL! I wanted to share another one of the cards that I created for the last Paper Crafts call. I used a mixture of Paper Smooches and Papertrey Ink. The Paper Smooches sets that I used are A Little Lovin, and My Peeps. From PTI, I used Friendship Jar Spring Fillers and Label Basics and a few others for small details. You can find a complete supply list below.
