Hello there! I am back with the Confetti Crew for Day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! The January release will be available on the RC website and at your favorite retailers on January 8th! It's an adorable release!
Today, I used the Pencil & Treat Holder that was showcased yesterday in another way. Being in the middle of a pandemic, and also in the middle of cold and flu season, there are so many people feeling under the weather. I thought it would be fun to create little sleeves for tea bags that could be paired with a nice mug as a little gift for someone not feeling 100%. To create my sleeves, I diecut the Pencil and Treat Holder from Aqua cardstock and stamped some cute little polkadots from the previously released Background Builder stamp set. Then, I stamped and colored images from the new Farmhouse Wreath stamp set, and diecut them with the coordinating Farmhouse Wreath Confetti Cuts dies.
I scored the diecut at 3.75" which is at the half way mark, then I stamped a sentiment from the Tall Blooms stamp set, and used the Farmhouse Wreath to frame it. I tucked a tea bag inside of each, and secured them closed with some gluedots. To finish things off, I added some sparkle to the center of each flower with Stardust Stickles.
Be sure to hop along and check out what the rest of the team has to share with you, and comment along the way for yoru chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate. I hope you will stop back by tomorrow because I have lots more to share with you! :)
