Hello there! It's day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti!! All of the new goodies that you will see over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on July 8th!
Today, we are showcasing my favorite products of the release! It's no secret that I love the Reverse Confetti critter sets, and the two new additions this month are adorable! First up, Hummingbird. These little birds are a great size and fill a card front nicely. To create my card, I started off by diecutting the Leaf Cover Panel from white cardstock. I must apologize because I did not realize that this die is now retired. RC is having a HUGE retirement sale, and it's filled with so many amazing gems! You can check out all of the retired items that are still available for purchase HERE.
I splattered the card base with gold watercolor, and layered the leaf layer over top after inking it with Shabby Shutters and Pealed Paint Distress Oxide. Then, I stamped and colored the cute little hummingbirds and one of the flowers in the set and diecut them with the coordinating Hummingbird Confetti Cuts.
I popped them up with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment from the set onto a strip of cardstock which I tucked behind the bottom hummingbird. To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and glitter to the flower.
And now onto card #2!
The Oceans of Love stamp set is one of my favorite RC stamp sets of all time! It pairs perfectly with the new
Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts die. To create this card, I started off by diecutting the previously released
Along the Dotted Lines Cover Panel from white cardstock. I cut the Circle of Waves die from white cardstock too, and inked the different layers in Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Walnut Stain Distress Oxides. I stamped and colored several images from the
Oceans of Love stamp set and diecut them with the coordinating
Oceans of Love Confetti Cuts dies.
I arranged my little scene, adhering some images flat and some popped up with foam tape. The, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a banner and added some white gel pen and glitter to finish off the card.
