Reverse Confetti January SFYTT

Hello there!!  Today I have a card to share with you for the Reverse Confetti January SFYTT!  There is still time to enter!  Here is this month's sketch:

And here is my card!  I started off with a white card base.  I added a strip of patterned paper from the True Love paper pad.  Then I diecut the Topped Off Tag from Salsa cardstock, and used Salsa ink and the Hearts stencil to add a tone on tone pattern to the tag.  I stamped a image from Butterfly Dreams in black ink on white cardstock, then using the Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts, cut a banner from more True Love patterned paper.  I added everything to the card base with foam tape, and added a scattering of sequins and some red twine to finish things off.

God is Our Refuge and Strength - Reverse Confetti

Hello there!  Today I have a card to share with you that I made using some of the Reverse Confetti January release products!

I am so in love with the new hearts stencil that I had to use it again!  It adds a beautiful subtle pattern behind the focal point of this pretty clean and simple card.

My Rock 2

To create this card, I started off by using an ink blending tool and Piggy Bank ink with the hearts stencil.  With a light hand, I added a a few hearts to opposite corners of a piece of watercolor paper.  I diecut my focal point using the Cross Confetti Cuts from black cardstock, and cut a little heart from Flamingo cardstock using the All Hearts Cover Panel.  I love that with one pass of your diecut machine, you get a fun diecut panel AND a ton of cute little hearts!  I glued it to the panel with a glue pen, popped the heart up with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment from the My Rock stamp set just to the right of the cross.  I added a strip of patterned paper from the True Love paper pad on the left side of a Flamingo card base, and popped the focal point panel up with foam tape.

My Rock

That's all for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Lawn Fawn CHA Peek Week - Starry Skies and Out of this World

Hello there!  I have another card to share with you using lots of new goodies from the Lawn Fawn Spring 2017 release which is being showcased at CHA this week!

Today, I am using several of my favorites from the release, including the Out of This World stamp set and coordinating dies, the Starry Skies dies (so fun!), the Bannertastic Stamp set, and Zig Zag Rectangles dies.  I have been wanting a space set from Lawn Fawn forever, and the same goes for the Zig Zag dies!  LOVE!!

To create my card, I watercolored a night sky with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.  When it was dry, I diecut it with the Dotted Rectangles Stackables.  I stamped, colored, and diecut the adorable little space man and planets from the Out Of This World stamp set, along with my favorite banner from the Bannertastic stamp set.  Then I stamped a sentiment from Out of this World in the banner.  Before I arranged the pieces on the watercolor background, I  used the Starry Skies die set to add a scattering of stars to opposite corners of the watercolor piece, and then diecut two shooting stars, also from the Starry Skies die set.  Then I popped the pieces up with foam tape.  I adhered the watercolor piece to a diecut Zig Zag Rectangle cut from white cardstock and then popped it up on a white card base.  I added some accents with a white gel pen, and though you can't really tell in the photo, I colored in the stars with the Sakura Startdust gelly roll pen.

Out of this World

That's all for me today, but be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for lots more inspiration from the design team!! :)

Lawn Fawn CHA Peek Week - Year Seven

Hello there!  I am so excited because this week, I get to share projects with you using the Spring 2017 release from Lawn Fawn!  There are SO SO SO many wonderful products coming you way!  All of the new release goodies will be showcased this week at the CHA show taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, and they will be available for purchase in mid-February.

Today, my card features the new Year Seven stamp set, along with the new Bannertastic stamp set, Zig Zag Rectangles, Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper collection (my favorite patterned paper collection in the history of ever!), and the gorgeous new Raspberry cardstock.

To create my card, I watercolored a background on watercolor paper using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  When it was dry, I diecut it with the Dotted Rectangles Stackables.  I stamped, colored and diecut images from the following stamp sets:  Year Seven (new), Bannertastic (new), Party Animal, Stuck on You, So Smooth, Make Lemonade, and Plan on It: Holidays.  I added a strip of patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper pad, arranged the pieces to create my scene, and adhered some with a glue pen and some with foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment from the Year Seven stamp set on a banner from Bannertastic, and paper pieced the little flag garland with more Perfectly Plaid Rainbow papers.  I added a scattering of iridescent sequins, and backed the panel with a Zig Zag Rectangle cut from Raspberry cardstock, then popped it up with foam tape onto a Raspberry card base.

Year Seven

Reverse Confetti January Blog Hop!

Hey there!  It's January 8th!  That means it's Reverse Confetti release day and all of the new release goodies are available in the Reverse Confetti Store!  It also means that we are celebrating with a blog hop!  You should have come from Amy Tsuruta's blog. If you've gotten lost, or want to start at the beginning, you can head over to the Reverse Confetti Blog.

The card that I have to share with you today uses the new Foodie Fun stamp set!  I made a mini card, taller and skinnier than an A2 size to work with the width of the new Tall Stripe Panel.  I started off with a piece of royal purple cardstock, then I cut a piece of Grape Soda cardstock using the Tall Stripe Panel.  I stamped the little bread slice from the Foodie Fun stamp set twice on kraft cardstock, diecut them with the Foodie Fun Confetti Cuts, and added some shading with Walnut Stain distress ink.  I adhered one piece the card base flat, and popped the other piece up with foam tape.  I stamped the jelly blob in Grape Soda ink, diecut it with the coordinating die, and popped that  up on the front piece of bread.  I added a few diecut hearts from the All Heart Cover Panel and XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts, popped those up with foam tape and added a few accents with a white gel pen.  Then I stamped a sentiment from the Crazy about You stamp set just below the focal point.

Foodie Fun

To finish things off I added a twine bow and a scattering of sequins.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 2

Hey there!  Today is Day 2 the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!   All of the new release goodies that we will be featuring over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti Store on January 8th!

For my card today, I created an (almost) monochromatic card using one of the new colors this month, Rose.  I love all of the new colors, but this one might just be my favorite!!

To create my card, I started off with a Rose card base.  Then I used the new All Heart Cover Panel die to cut a heart overlay, using the same color cardstock.  I adhered them together with a glue pen.  I diecut the new Love You More Tag Layer from Rose cardstock, and glued it to a Topped Off Tag diecut cut from white carstock.  I popped that up on the cardbase with foam tape.  I diecut a banner from white cardstock using the Flowers For Mom Confetti Cuts stamp set, and stamped a sentiment from the new Crazy About You stamp set using Rose ink, and popped that up on the tag with foam tape.  I diecut two sets of hearts from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts die set from the True Love paper pad and layered them on top of eac hother, then threaded a button with black and white twine, and added a scattering of sequins to finish things off.

Crazy about You

I am really loving all of this gorgeous pink!
