Countdown to Confetti - Day 1: Birthday Wishes

Hello there!  Today, begins the  Countdown to Confetti, and the 5th birthday celebration at Reverse Confetti!  

My card today features the new Birthday Wishes stamp set and Candles Confetti Cuts!

To create my card, I started off with an A2 card base.  I diecut a piece of patterned paper from the new Paper Bliss paper pad with the previously released Stitched Rays Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and adhered that to the card base.  On the left side of the card, I added another pattern from the new paper pad, and added a Royal Purple pinked edge border using the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts dies.  I diecut the Candles on a Premier Polar White square, and behind it, I colored with my copic markers.  To frame it, I diecut one of  the new Stitched Square Confetti cuts, which I popped up with foam squares.  I stamped a sentiment from the new Birthday Wishes stamp set onto a Piggy Bank banner, cut using the banner die from the Flowers For Mom Confetti Cuts die set.

I added some white gel pen accents to the candles, and though it's hard to see in the photos, I added some glitter pen to the candle flames.  I love love that you can color behind the candles with markers, or add patterned paper for a different fun look!  Perfect for masculine and feminine cards alike!!
