Hello there! It's a new month, and that means that it is time for a new SFYTT from Reverse Confetti! Here is our April sketch:
I created a baby card that follows the sketch. Ignore the fact that my diagonal goes the wrong way. LOL! It was already stuck down before I realized it. That's the beautiful thing about these sketches... it's all in how you interpret them. There is no wrong way!
I started out with an A2 card base. On top of that, I added a piece of patterned paper from the Pattern Play paper pad. Then I took two more yellow patterns from the same paper collection and cut them to form the diagonal. I diecut the smaller square from the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts die set from Buttercup cardstock, and the center from Premier Polar White cardstock. I ink blended some Iced Aqua ink on the center square. Then, I stamped and colored the koalas in the tree from the Bear Hugs stamp set, and diecut them with the coordinating Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts dies. For my sentiment, I used the Bitty Banners stamp set, stamped in Midnight ink, and diecut with the coordinating Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts dies. I glued the square down flat, then popped the image and sentiment up with foam tape.
A little bit of white gel pen accents, and my card is finished! :) I love all of the yellow patterns all mixed together!
I hope you will play along with us for a chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate! You can find all of the details on how to enter here on the Reverse Confetti blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! :)
