Happy Birthday to You {Clear & Simple Stamps}

Hello there! Today I have a few little projects to share with you. I made gift tags and a matching card for my sister's birthday gifts. Ashley's favorite color is lime green, and her entire apartment is decorated in Damask and chartreuse, black, gray and white. If course, her presents had to be decorated the same way! :) Usually she displays my handmade cards on her kitchen island, and ya know, things had to match! :) I diecut PTI's Tag Sale #3 out of white cardstock, and then added the damask print paper from the Smokey Shadow Pattern Pack. For the sentiment, I used Clear and Simple Stamps Ragdoll Emma: HAPPY set. I LOVE that you get the solid and outline of each word. I colored the outlined word with 4 shades of Copic marker for a lime green gradient effect.



Then I made a matching card with all of the same elements. I added Ragdoll Emma in a fun green striped dress :)

Wee Memories Challenge - #76

I had some crafty time today, and wanted to participate in the Wee Memories Challenge #76 - Birthdays & Parties.

I was so insprired by this great card by Nichole Heady. I love the bright colors against the black background. So stunning!

I used a new set that I just got called A Beary Good Year by The Cat's Pajamas. LOVE it. So full of possibilities, and so darn adorable :) Broke into another new set, Say Cheese by Lawn Fawn - so cute! I also used a PTI Papers, ribbon, and the Button Card dies.

Home Decor with Papertrey Ink

I have been wanting to make one of the 7 Gypsies printers trays for the longest time, and I figured that since my mom's newest grandson has finally arrived, it was time. My mom's birthday is Wednesday, but we celebrated yesterday and I gave her her gifts, so it's safe to share on my blog now. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and she loved it. I used My Mind's Eye Gertie papers, and a bunch of different Papertray Ink Stamps and other products. Happy Birthday Merry!

I also used this opportunity to try out the PTI Make it Monday Challege this week - Making your own spray mists with reinker. I used the Simply Chartruse reinker in a mini-mister to spray the bottom half of the card front for a pale green hue, and then ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Linen/Canvas Impression Plate for a little bit if texture.

HEC Challenge #16 - Purple & Green plus 4
