Colour Q #146

Good Wednesday morning! I just love breaking out stamp sets that I have not used in awhile and inking them up. Last night, I set out to make a card to participate in the current Colour Q Challenge - #146.



I pulled out one of my favorite sets from Papertrey Ink, Tremendous Treats Valentine. I just love the images... they make me smile :)



Please forgive me as I experiment with different photo locations and lighting while taking my blog pictures... I am trying to find the best spot to take the best pictures... with it being rainy here so much lately, the sun isn't shining through my picture taking window... LOL! Have a great day!

Hello there!
Just a quick post to share a card that I made for the Colour Q Challenge #135 and the Paper Smooches Contest on the PS blog. For the PS contest, you had to create a card using ONLY cardstock. No pattern paper unless it was created with cardstock and background stamps. Here is the ColourQ challenge this week:



For this card, I used Paper Smooches Hot Concoctions, Debonair, Geo-Graphic and Sentiment Sampler.

Both use the same color combination... love happy coinsidences like that! :)

Here is my card using the Chevrons from Paper Smooches Geo-Graphic and the TV and sentiment from Boob Tubes.

Colour Q Challenge - #127 - sMOOches!

I love Colour Q challenges... This week, #127 is so pretty! I just got an order from The Alley Way stamps. This month, they released 10 new sets, and I knew as soon as I saw them that two of them had to come live with me. I got ei-ei-o and Get MOOvin. They are companion sets. For this card, I used the cow from Get MOOvin, the hay/grass from ei-ei-o and a sentiment from the Paper Smooches Chubby Chums Stamp set. His adorable little cow body is hiding behind the fence, but it's there! His head is popped up on popdots to make it look like he is peeking over the fence. The fence die is from Papertrey Ink.

ColourQ Challenge #126 - Thank You for Your Hospitality

Hello there! Back again today with another card using my new Market Street Stamps Home Sweet Home set. In a few weeks, we will be going to visit my husband's brother and his family before he leaves for a 9 month deployment to Afghanistan. My sister-in-law is always so welcoming when we visit, and I made this card to leave with her when it's time to come home.



I used the colors in this week's ColourQ Challenge - #126.



I will also be entering this into the Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes" challenge :)

Love Is in the Air

*sigh* Love is in the air. Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and it's time to get some crafting done in my favorite color - PINK! I absolutely LOVE this week's color combo over at the ColourQ blog - Challenge #119.



I was itching to use my new set from PTI, Tremendous Treats: Valentine. I love the tiny version, but I think this set is even better (if that is even possible!). I just adore these images. For this card, I used the airplane. The sentiment is from Tiny Treats: Valentine, the "fireworks" are PTI Dot Spot, and the Cloud dies are also from PTI.
