Reverse Confetti & Hero Arts Collaboration

Hello there!  I have a special post to share with you today!  Reverse Confetti has partnered with Hero Arts to create The Better Together collaboration stamp and the coordinating Better Together die set!  There is a special hop and giveaway!  Before I share my project, here is a bit more about these awesome products!

Hero Arts is celebrating 45 years and counting. To honor our beloved industry, we have teamed up with some of our favorite friends, and have together released co-branded designs focused on friendship, giving, and community.

Born with creativity in her blood, Ellie, daughter of Reverse Confetti owner, Jen del Muro, designed this uplifting and versatile multi-step floral set for the Hero Arts Partner collaboration. Both have a passion for equality and equity, and proceeds from this stamp set will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign. We hope that this stamp set will inspire you to create beautiful cards for those that you care for and love.

To create my card, I started off by watercoloring a background for these fun goemetric florals.  I stamped the flower base in Baby Blue ink, and stamped a pattern layer in Blue Lagoon ink.  The flower scallops were stamped in Iced Aqua ink and the flower centers were stamped in Navy ink.  I used my Pablo colored pencils over the ink to add depth and dimenson.  I did the same for the flower stems and leaves, stamping them in Lime Green ink, then highlighting with the pencils.

I arranged them, popped everything up with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment from the set in Navy ink.  The panel was popped up on a white card base, and I added a strip of patterned paper to the left edge for more interest.  To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and a scattering of clear sequins.
