Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Hello there!!  Today I am back for Day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti!!  Today, I get to share with you my favorite stamp set of the release, Coffee and You.  This stamp set, and all of the others that you have seen this week will be available in the Reverse Confetti Store tomorrow, August 8th!!

If you have followed my blog for any length of time, it's no secret that I LOVE the animals in the Reverse Confetti lineup.  I rip open my design team package every month, and can't wait to see who is joining the gang!! This month, because it's an extra big release, there are THREE new critter stamp sets coming (be sure to hop around to see them all)!  Today, I am sharing my favorite of the three, this adorable elephant from the Coffee and You stamp set.

To create my card, I started off by watercoloring wide mint colored stripes on a piece of watercolor paper with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and a 1" flat brush.  It's sort of hard to see in my photos, but I promise they are there!  While I was waiting for the stripes to dry, I diecut a pair of frames from mint and coral cardstock using the new All Framed Up Confetti Cuts die set.  I adhered the watercolor piece to a white card base, and then nested the smaller coral frame inside the mint frame and glued them to the watercolor piece.  I stamped and colored the elephant, mice pair, and plate of donuts from the Coffee and You stamp set using my copic markers, diecut them with the coordinating Coffee and You Confetti Cuts, and then arranged them and popped everything up with foam tape.

Coffee and You

To fill in some open space, I added the cluster of hearts from the Weather it Together stamp set and colored them with a coral colored copic marker.  I added a few accents with a white gel pen, and stamped a sentiment from the stamp set, along with another tiny heart.  Isn't this trio just the cutest?!  And I just love that sentiment!!

There are lots more products being peeked and introduced today!  Be sure to hop along to all of the design team blogs and comment for a chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate!
