Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

Hello there!! It's Reverse Confetti release week!  I am so excited to share projects using all of the new goodies over the next few days!  All of the new things you see will be available on August 8th in the Reverse Confetti Store!  You are in for a treat, because this release is bigger than usual and jam packed full of so many fun things!!

I rarely have food or drinks in my craft room while I am creating, but if I do, it's coffee!  When I saw the new Just Brew It stamp set, I let out a little squeal!  I love the idea of coffee being "creative fuel", and for me, it really is!!  Of course, I had to use this image from the set to create my card:

To create my card, I started off by watercoloring a rainbow on watercolor paper.  When it was dry, I diecut it with  the Sunbust Cover Panel.  I diecut a second Sunburst Cover Panel out of white card stock as well.  I glued the rainbow piece to a white card base, and then, like a puzzle, glued in the white cardstock strips.  I added a fun stitched frame using an AWESOME new die, the All Framed Up Confetti cuts!  You can cut several sizes of stitched frames in one pass of your diecut machine.  I will be using this die a ton!!  I popped the frame up around the watercolor piece using foam tape.  I stamped the "creative fuel" coffee mug on white cardstock using black ink and then diecut it with the coordinating Just Brew It Confetti Cuts.  I popped that up in the center of the panel using foam tape, and then, to finish things off, I added a scattering of iridescent rainbow sequins.
