Papertrey Ink August Blog Hop!

It's time for the Papertrey Ink August Blog Hop! This month, we were challenged to use this photo as inspiration for our project:

I had a terrible time getting good photos of my card. I used Versamark in on the background images, and it is just impossible to capture. It looks much more obvious in person. I used the Mehndi Medallion Stamp Set with Versamark ink on Fine Linen cardstock to mimic the pattern on the side of the suitcase. Then I diecut and stamped the Flower Fusion #3 flowers to make a bouquet and added leaves using PTI Leaf Ribbon. The sentiment is stamped on the Double Ended Banner diecut.

In this flash photo, you can sort of see the background better:

And the flower bouquet:

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Mehndi Medallion, Flower Fusion #3
Ink: Versamark, Memento Rich Cocoa, Tea Dye Duo
Paper: Fine Linen, Stampers Select White, Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst
Dies: Flower Fusion #3, Double Ended Banner
Other: Clear Rhinestones, Corner Rounder, Leaf Ribbon

  16. What a great idea to use the Mehndi Medallion as the background/suitcase inside! I definitely didn't think of that. And that bouquet of flowers totally steals the spotlight, it looks awesome :)
