A Present for Malakai

Ok, so my baby sister is pregnant with my 1st nephew and due in May. I am going to be an Auntie! :) Malakai's room is going to have a jungle theme, and when Papertrey Ink came out with their Tiny Treats: Birthday stamp set during their last release, I was over-the-moon excited to see some cute little animals in the set! My favorite among them was the adorable little monkey, and I had to make something for Malakai's room with it! I found a plain white 3.5"x3.5" frame, the perfect size for these tiny images. Paired with the tree from Merry Little Christmas, he looks so cute just hanging out! I have plans to make another piece of wall art using the lion from this set, and maybe the hippo and elephant too! :) I added Simply Chartreuse satin dot ribbon, as my sister has chosen green as the main color of his room.

And here it is, closer to see the detail:

And just to futher share my excitement, my favorite picture from Malakai's most recent photoshoot at 24 weeks. He's waiving to his Auntie! ;) Can't wait to hold that precious little hand...

Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Tiny Treats: Birthday, Merry Little Christmas, Wreath for All Seasons (berries)
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss, Orange Zest, Tea Dye Duo
Paper: Vintage Cream CS, Distressed Dots PP
Other: Simply Chartruese satin dot ribbon, copic markers, white gel pen

  2. So cute, Audrey! I should do something like this for my sister-in-law. She is due ANY day now and her theme is also jungle animals! Wish I would have had this for my sons' nursery!

  4. Oh my, Audrey.......Look how adorable this is!!! I absolutely love it. Did you happen to see the cute little onesies that someone made in the blog hop using stamps and copics? I bet you could make several "jungle" onesies for her, too! Not that this isn't enough.....just giving the proud auntie some more food for thought......lol

  5. So cute! I have been holding off on getting the TT:Birthday, but the monkey is just so cute. I also don't have Merry Little Christmas and I keep seeing so many reasons to get it. Thanks for the inspirations!
