My cards today feature my favorites from the release! First up, this card uses images from the new Better with Friends and Picnic Pals stamp sets. They pair perfectly together and provide great scene building elements for all of the other Reverse Confetti critters! To create this card, I started off by a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25". I used Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress ink to ink blend the sky and grass for my scene. For the tree top, I used the Head in the Clouds Cover Panel which I cut to fit the top of the panel. The tree trunk and nest are part of the Picnic Pals set and the bunny, flowers and bee are from the Better with Friends set. Everything was colored with Copic markers and diecut with the coordinating Picnic Pals Confetti Cuts and Better with Friends Confetti Cuts dies.
I glued the tree trunk down with a glue pen and popped everything else up with foam tape. I added white gel pen accents and before mounting the panel to an A2 card base, I added a strip of patterned paper to the left edge of the panel.
My second card uses the free gift with purchase, Dot to Dot, to create a background for my scene. I used several pastel shades of Distress Oxide inks for the dots, and then inked around the edges with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide. To ground the bunnies from Better with Friends, I added a strip of patterned paper to the bottom edge of the panel. I diecut the new Egg Carton Confetti Cuts from kraft cardstock and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The eggs were cut from white cardstock and inked with Distress Ink as well.
I stamped the egg with the bow from the previously released Hop Into Spring stamp set, and diecut it with the coordinating Hop Into Spring Confetti Cuts dies. The bunnies, flowers and bee were stamped from the Better with Friends stamp set and diecut with the Better With Friends Confetti Cuts dies. I stamped a sentiment from the new Springtime Sentiments stamp set in black ink. To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents and mounted the panel to an A2 card base.
