Hello there! Welcome to day 1 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti! Our September release is just around the corner! All of the new goodies that we will be sharing with you over the next few days will be available on September 8th in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers!
Today, we are showcasing the new Frightening Friends stamp set and coordinating dies as well as the new Boo Yea stamp set. My card uses both along with a few other new goodies from this release. To create my card, I started off with an A2 Midnight card base. Then I diecut the largest piece from the new Bag & Tag Creator Confetti Cuts die set from Midnight cardstock, and then ran it through my diecut machine again with the new Criss Cross Cover Panel Confetti cuts dies for a tone on tone pattern. Some of the X's fell out but I liked that effect so I did not replace them with I glued the two pieces together. For some added interest, I splattered on some white acrylic paint. For the moon in my scene, I stamped one of the circle sentiment from the Boo Yea stamp set in Sunshine and Tangerine ink (only on one edge), then diecut it with the circle die in the Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts die set as they coordinate. Then, I stamped several images from the new Frightening Friends stamp set and diecut them with the coordinating Frightening Friends Confetti Cuts dies.
To ground my scene, I added a strip of patterned paper from the new Abundant Autumn paper pad, and then adhered everything with either a glue pen or foam tape. To finish things off, I added some white gel pen accents.
The rest of the team has lots to share with you today! Be sure to hop along and comment for your chance to win a RC gift certificate! :)
