Hello there! Happy Monday!! Today begins another Lawnscaping Challenge, but we get to that, I have announcement of sorts... Last week, it was shared on Lawn Fawn blog that I, along with two other fantastic ladies, have accepted the invitation to be on the Lawn Fawn Design Team! I am over the moon and super excited, but it's a bit bittersweet as well because I will be leaving the Lawnscaping Team. I have enjoyed my 3 years here, and am so thankful to Laurel for the opportunity. It has been so much fun creating for these challenges, and getting to interact with some of Lawn Fawn's biggest fans! I am not going too far though... you will see even more Lawn Fawn creations from me, and I could not be more thrilled about that!
Now onto the challenge!! This week, we are all about patterns!
Challenge #135 is sponsored by our friends at Ellen Hutson!
For my card today, I had the idea of patterned clouds. Here is what I came up with...
I started of by diecutting a piece of patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad (I believe this has been discontinued, unfortunately) with the Stitched Rectangles Stackables. I matted it with a white scalloped edge using the Scalloped Rectangles Stackables. I diecut my clouds using the Puffy Cloud Frames dies. I cut once from patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad, and once from white cardstock to use as a frame. I diecut three stars using the smallest die in the Puffy Stars Stackables, and the moon from the Sun and Moon die set. I cut it from white paper and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped a smiley face on the moon using the Donut Worry stamp set. I glued everything down, popped the stars up with foam tape, and added a scattering of sequins. For my sentiment, I used the Lucky Stars stamp set, and stamped it in black on a hand cut banner. I popped the panel up on a white card base and added a bow with Lemon Lawn Trimmings.
That's all for me today! Be sure to visit the blog for all of the challenge details and for lots more inspiration from the design team!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
