Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

Woohooo!  I am super excited about today's post!  Sneak peeks of the new March release goodies from Reverse Confetti start today!

The introductions today include my favorites from the release, the next in the critter lineup, and it's a unicorn!  Unicorns are super "in" right now, and I am thrilled to see a unicorn done Reverse Confetti style!

One of the things that I love most about these critters is that all of the sets in the series coordinate perfectly with each other.  You can mix and match across the sets and create adorable scenes, which I love to do !

To start my card, I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper with my $5 Artist's Loft watercolor palette.  I stamped, colored and diecut the cute little unicorn, shooting star and single stars using the Unicorn Wishes stamp set and coordinating Unicorn Wishes Confetti Cuts.  To further build my scene, I stamped, colored and diecut the balloons from the Monkey Business set, the cake from Later Alligator and the banner from the Leaping Lions stamp set.  I stamped a sentiment from Unicorn Wishes onto a new banner that is part of the new Flowers for Mom die set.  This banner is such a great size!  Perfect for all sentiments of all sizes!

I added some accents with a white gel pen.  I adhered the banner flat to the watercolor panel, and then popped all of the other elements up using foam tape.  When my scene was complete and all adhered, I popped the entire panel up on a white card base.
