Reverse Confetti July Blog Hop

WOOHOO!  It's the 8th of the month, and that means that all of the new release goodies from Reverse Confetti are available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers!

My card today uses my favorite stamp set of the release, Oceans of Love.  To create my card, I started off with an RC Aqua card base and then I used the Stitched Scallops Cover Panel cut from Iced Aqua cardstock.  Then I ran it through my diecut machine again with the new Circle Element Confetti Cuts die to add the fun window and to let the darker aqua show through.  I splattered the panel with white acrylic paint and some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.  Then, I stamped and colored images from the Oceans of Love stamp set, and diecut them with the coordinating Oceans of Love Confetti Cuts dies.

I arranged my little scene and popped some of the pieces up with foam tape, while some were adhered flat with a glue pen.  To finish things off, I added some white gel pen accents and some Stickles Glitter Glue to the bubbles for some fun shine.

That's all for me today!  I hope you enjoyed the projects that I shared with you this week, and found some new products you can't live without!  Hope along to see what the rest of the team has to share with you today!  Thanks for stopping by! :)

Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Hello there!  It's day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti!! All of the new goodies that you will see over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on July 8th!

Today, we are showcasing my favorite products of the release!  It's no secret that I love the Reverse Confetti critter sets, and the two new additions this month are adorable!  First up, Hummingbird These little birds are a great size and fill a card front nicely.  To create my card, I started off by diecutting the Leaf Cover Panel from white cardstock.  I must apologize because I did not realize that this die is now retired.  RC is having a HUGE retirement sale, and it's filled with so many amazing gems!  You can check out all of the retired items that are still available for purchase HERE.

I splattered the card base with gold watercolor, and layered the leaf layer over top after inking it with Shabby Shutters and Pealed Paint Distress Oxide.  Then, I stamped and colored the cute little hummingbirds and one of the flowers in the set and diecut them with the coordinating Hummingbird Confetti Cuts

I popped them up with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment from the set onto a strip of cardstock which I tucked behind the bottom hummingbird.  To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and glitter to the flower.

And now onto card #2!  The Oceans of Love stamp set is one of my favorite RC stamp sets of all time!  It pairs perfectly with the new Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts die.  To create this card, I started off by diecutting the previously released Along the Dotted Lines Cover Panel from white cardstock.  I cut the Circle of Waves die from white cardstock too, and inked the different layers in Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Walnut Stain Distress Oxides.  I stamped and colored several images from the Oceans of Love stamp set and diecut them with the coordinating Oceans of Love Confetti Cuts dies.

I arranged my little scene, adhering some images flat and some popped up with foam tape.  The, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a banner and added some white gel pen and glitter to finish off the card.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 2

Hello there!  It's day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti!! All of the new goodies that you will see over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on July 8th!

My card today uses the new Bloom stamp set, and Stitched Pinwheel Cover Panel!  These fun whimsical flowers are a blast to color! :)  I started off by diecutting the Stitched Pinwheel Cover Panel from black and white cardstock. I splattered the white pieces with black watercolor and inlaid them into the black frame.  I stamped the long floral image in black ink and colored it with my Copic Markers, diecut it with the coordinating Bloom Confetti Cuts dies, then popped it up in the center of the panel.

I heat embossed a sentiment from the Bloom stamp set in white on black cardstock and popped it up with foam tape.  To finish off my card, I added a scattering of iridescent sequins and some white gel pen accents.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

Hello there!  It's day 1 of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti!! All of the new goodies that you will see over the next few days will be available in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on July 8th!

Today, we are showing off two new stamp sets!  The new Tropical Leaves stamp set pairs perfectly with the new Lovely Day Sentiments, as well as lots of other previously released Reverse Confetti favorites!  My card also uses the coordinating Tropical Leaves Confetti Cuts dies and the new Peekaboo Cover Panel die.  I started off by cutting the Peekaboo Cover Panel from white cardstock and then added watercolor splatters with an air puffer.  I stamped a sentiment from the new Lovely Day Sentiments on a piece of lime green cardstock, and added that to the bottom of the panel.  Then, I stamped and colored several of the Tropical Leaves and the pair of toucans from the previously released  and retired Toucan of Friendship stamp set. I diecut everything with the coordinating Tropical Leaves Confetti Cuts and Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts dies.  (Did you  know that RC recently retired a bunch of products to make way for all of the new amazing products coming your way!  Get them at a big discount while you can!!  See the Retired List here).
