Hero Arts + Lawn Fawn - Big Thanks

Hello there!  I am thrilled to be part of a special blog hop to celebrate Hero Arts and their 45 years in the stamping industry!  Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn have partnered to bring you the adorable Big Thanks stamp set and the coordinating Big Thanks dies.

To create my card, I started off with by diecutting a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangles die set.  I masked off the bottom third of the panel and inked above the mask with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink.  Then I moved the mask and inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.  I splattered with clean water, and again with distress oxide inks in the same colors to add some texture to the panel.  I stamped and colored the adorable rhinos and their bird friends from the Big Thanks stamp set and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I popped everything up with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment from the set just above my scene.  The open letters were colored with copics for an ombre effect.  To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents, and popped the panel up with foam tape on an A2 card base.

Reverse Confetti September Blog Hop

Woohoo!  It's release day at Reverse Confetti!  The  September release is available NOW in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers!

I have one last card to share with you using new release goodies!  To create this card, I started off with an A2 Tangerine card base.  On top of that, I layered the Big Stripes Cover Panel cut from Midnight cardstock.  In the center of the card front, I used the new Rounded Stitched Window Confetti Cuts to ground my scene.  The larger window was cut from Grape Soda cardstock and the smaller window was cut from patterned paper from the This & That paper pad.

Halloween Gnomes

I used the grass border from the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts dies to create the ground.  A strip of This & That patterned paper serves as a fence.  I stamped and colored one of the cute little houses from the Halloween Gnomes stamp set, along with a few bats and tomb stones, also included in the set.  The images were diecut using the coordinating Halloween Gnomes Confetti Cuts dies.  I popped everything up with foam tape.

Halloween Gnomes

For a sentiment, I used the new Trick or Treat Confetti Cuts die, which I cut from Midnight cardstock.  I glued it down with a glue pen and added some white gel pen accents.  The spider, webs and stars are all included in the Halloween Gnomes stamp set, and to finish off the inside, I added a hand doodled border.

That's all for me today, but be sure to hop along to see what the rest of the team has to share with you!  Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Woohoo!  It's time for another amazing release from Reverse Confetti!  For the next few days, we will be showcasing all of the September release goodies and they will be available for purchase in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on September 8th!

I have lots to share with you today, so grab a cuppa and hang on to your hat!

My first card uses the new Joyous Holiday stamp set and coordinating dies, and the new All the Stars Confetti Cuts dies.  To create my card, I started off with a white A2 card base.  Then, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 5" x 4.25".  I placed the All the Stars Confetti Cuts die along one edge, ran it through my machine, then turned the panel, but the die on the other side and ran it through again so it covered the entire panel with stars.  I packed the panel with some glitter paper from my stash, and popped it up on the card base.  To create my little scene, I stamped one of the angels from the Joyous Holiday stamp set, along with a trio of falling stars.  I colored them and diecut them with the coordinating Joyous Holiday Confetti Cuts dies.

Joyous Holiday

To ground my scene, I diecut a trio of clouds using the Take Flight Confetti Cuts dies.  I glued them down with a glue pen, and added a glittery border using Diamond Stickles.  I popped the angel up with foam tape, added the shooting stars, and stamped a sentiment from the set onto a hand cut border which I popped up with foam tape.  Added some glitter to the angel wings and that finished off my card.

Joyous Holiday

My next project is a tag set using the new Joys of the Season stamp set and the Square Window Tag.  I created these assembly line style, diecutting the tag base from Salsa and Avocado cardstock, then ran them through again with the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel to add texture.  Then, I added a patterned layer to each using the smaller die from the set and some of the new This & That paper pad.

Joys of the Seasons Tags 3

I stamped and colored the candy cane image from the set several times, coloring them with my Copic markers and adding shading with my Prismacolor pencils before diecutting them with the coordinating Joys of the Season Confetti Cuts dies.  I added some glitter to each candy cane with some Diamond Stickles.

Joys of the Season Tags 2

I popped each up on the tag base with foam tape, and added banner sentiment using the Bitty Banners stamp set and some Avocado ink.  To finish them off, I added some chunky red and white twine that I found at Target last year.

Joys of the Season Tags 1

That's all for me today, but be sure to hop along with the rest of the Confetti Crew and comment along the way for your chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate!  I hope you will stop by again tomorrow as I have another project to share with you using goodies from the new release! :)

Happy Hopping!! :)

Countdown to Confetti - Day 2

Woohoo!  It's time for another amazing release from Reverse Confetti!  For the next few days, we will be showcasing all of the September release goodies and they will be available for purchase in the Reverse Confetti store and at your favorite retailers on September 8th!

My card today uses a few new products from the September release, With a Thankful Heart, the Stitched Circles Cover Panel, and the Blessed Confetti Cuts die.

I started off with an A2 Sand card base.  On top of that, I layered the Stitched Circles Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, also cut from Sand cardstock.  I splattered it with some watered down white acrylic paint.  Then, I used the largest die from the previously released Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts dies to add a frame to my card front.  I stamped the large pumpkin from the With a Thankful Heart, colored it with Copic Markers and added shading with my Prismacolor pencils, then diecut it with the coordinating With a Thankful Heart Confetti Cuts dies.

With a Thankful Heart

I grounded the pumpkin with a piece of patterned paper from the new This & That paper pad.  I popped the pumpkin up with foam tape, then I used the new Blessed Confetti Cuts die to cut and layer four diecuts to add some dimension.  Then, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a banner diecut from Sand cardstock and to finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents.

With a Thankful Heart

That's all for me today, but be sure to hop along with the rest of the Confetti Crew and comment along the way for your chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate!  I hope you will stop by again tomorrow as I have another project to share with you using goodies from the new release! :)
