CASE this Sketch #273 {Reverse Confetti}

Hello there!  Today, I have a clean and simple card to share with you using Reverse Confetti goodies for the current CASE this Sketch Challenge:

CASE this Sketch Challenge #273

To create my card, I started off with a piece of Premier Polar White cardstock cut to an A2 card base. I added a tiny piece of patterned paper from the Under the Umbrella paper pad to the right edge of the card base. Then, I cut a second piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25". I added a pinked edge to that panel using the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts dies.  On the bottom of that panel I used the chevron image from the My Tribe stamp set to stamp a pattern along the edge.  I stamped the image several times in Lime Green, Baby Blue, Navy Blue and Olive inks.  Just above the patterned edge, I stamped a Happy Father's Day sentiment from the Whole Lotta Happy stamp set in Navy Blue ink.

Happy Father's Day

I added a few tiny wooden stars to the right edge side of the sentiment, and popped the panel up  on the card base, leaving just a tiny bit of the patterned paper peeking out for a pop of color. I really love CAS style when creating masculine cards.  Simple but bold and graphic really works well for the guys :)

Happy Father's Day

That's all for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Hello there!  Today, I have a card to share with you for the current Fusion Card Challenge - Coral Flowers - and I am using Reverse Confetti goodies!

To create my card, I started off with an A2 card base cut from Premier Polar White cardstock.  On top of that I added a Big Stripes Cover Panel Confetti Cuts cut from Piggy Bank cardstock.  The fill the center of the cover panel, I used the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts die set.  I cut the pinked edge circle from that set out of Piggy Bank cardstock, and the dotted circle from that set to cut a patterend circle from Paper Bliss papers.  I stamped to floral cluster images from the Banner in Bloom stamp set, and colored them with Copic markers to coordinate with the colors in the inspiration photo.  Then, I diecut them with the coordinating Banner in Bloom Confetti Cuts dies.

Happy Birthday

In the center of the circle, I added a sentiment from the Sentiment Essentials stamp set, stamped in Midnight ink onto Premier Polar White cardstock, and diecut with the Sentiment Essentials Confetti Cuts dies.  Then I popped everything up with foam tape, and added a scattering of clear sequins to finish off my card.

Hello Bluebird Release Week Showcase: Rainy Day

Hello there!!

Today, I have a card to share with you featuring one of my favorites from the May release by Hello Bluebird called Rainy Day!

To create my card,  I ink blended a background using Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China Distress Oxide inks.  I splattered on some clean clear water to bleach out some spots.  Then I added a strip of rainbow striped paper to the bottom, and a stitched edge to the panel.  I stamped and colored one of the little girls from the set, along with her little dog, and a trio of clouds, using my Copic Markers.

Rainy Day

I arranged those elements to create my scene, then white heat embossed a sentiment from the set on the upper right corner of the panel.  I also stamped some rain drops falling from the clouds using Faded Jeans Distress Oxide, then added some white gel pen accents, and popped the panel up on a dark blue card base.

Rainy Day

That's all for me today!  Be sure to check out the new release, which can be found in the Hello Bluebird store!  It is available NOW!  Happy shopping!

Hello there!  Today, I have a card to share with you using goodies from Reverse Confetti for the current Inspired by All the Little Things Challenge!

Check out all of the details here: Inspired by All the Little Things #85

Here is my card!  I was inspired aged wood background and the flower cluster.  I started off by stamping the chevron pattern from the new Pattern Blocks stamp set on to a piece of Premier Polar White cardstock in Sand ink.  The panel is cut to 4" x 5.25".  On top of the stamped image, I splattered some gold metallic watercolor.  I stamped and colored a bunch of flowers and leaves from one of my favorite stamp sets, Build a Bunch, then diecut them with the coordinating Build a Bunch Confetti Cuts dies.  I arranged them on the patterned square, gluing some down flat, and popping others up with foam tape.  Under the focal point, I stamped a sentiment from the Whole Lotta Thanks stamp set in Sand ink, and popped the panel up on an A2 card base.

Build a Bunch

I am really loving the Pattern Blocks!  You can do so much with them!!  They really add something fun to your project!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Screen Time & Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop

Hello there!!  It's the final day of Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week!  All of the new summer 2018 release will be available for purchase tomorrow, May 17th at 12:01am on the Lawn Fawn website and at your favorite retailers!

Today, the team is showcasing the new Screen Time stamp set and coordinating dies, and one of my favorites from this release, the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop!

To create my card, I started off with an A2 card base cut from white cardstock.  On top of that, I layered the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop cut from Chili Pepper cardstock.  I used the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangles Stackables to cut a white panel, then I masked off an area with post-it tape.  I wanted to make it look like there was a glow coming off of the tv.  I inked the inside of the masked area with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink.  Then, I stamped and colored images from Screen Time, and colored them with my Copic Markers.  I added a strip of woodgrain paper to the bottom of the panel, and popped my images up with foam tape.  Above the cute little couple, I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set, and added a tiny speech bubble, also included.  To finish things off, I added some white gel pen accents before popping the panel up on the polka dot backdrop.

Screen Time

That's all for me today!!  Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for lots more inspiration from the design team!  Have fun getting you wishlists ready... hope your ordering fingers are poised and ready!!  Happy shopping! :)

I have a card to share with you today using the new Hippos on Holiday stamp set, and the new Rainbow Script stamp set.  To create my card, I started off by watercoloring a panel with my Distress inks in the colors Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade.  I stamped and colored several images from the Hippos on Holiday stamp set with my copic markers and fussy cut them out (I've really been enjoying fussy cutting again lately!)  I also stamped and colored the sunshine from the previously released Springtime stamp set and cut that out.  I arranged my elements in a scene, and adhered them, some flat and some popped up with foam tape.  In the upper left corner, I stamped a sentiment from the new Rainbow Script stamp set.
