Hello there! Happy Friday!
Today I will be participating in my friend Taheerah’s Advent Calendar Extravaganza by sharing a card.
First, let me tell you about the Extravaganza! Here are a few words from Taheerah!
“Advent Calendar Extravaganza is -the- festive event of the season! This ‘hop with a twist’ was dreamed up by Taheerah and features surprise destinations each day! Joining in the fun with Taheerahare ONE HUNDRED special guests – each serving up some fantastic Christmas inspiration! Just like an Advent Calendar, you’ll never know where you’re going to be visiting next until you ‘open the door’!
And that’s not all! With 25 *amazing* sponsors taking part as guests as well, your crafty wish list is bound to get a boost with a chance to win a prize EVERY SINGLE DAY!!”
And now, my card!!
I started off my card with a piece of Tim Holtz Distress watercolor paper. I ink blended a lavender halo of color using Faded Lilac ink. Then I diecut the paper with the largest die from the Small Dotted Rectangles die set. I added a hill using the Simple Stitched Hillside borders die. Then I stamped, colored and diecut images from Baaah Humbug, one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets. I popped everything up with foam tape, added a scattering of Mini Snowflakes and some white gel pen accents, and stamped a sentiment from the same set. Finally, I popped the panel up on a white card base to finish the card.
