My Favorites from Clear and Simple Stamps!

Happy Tuesday!!  Today is a fun day for the CSS Design Team!  We are all showing off our most favorite CSS products!

I am sure, that if you are a regular visitor to my blog, you already know how much I adore the CSS Ragdoll line.  There is something so fun and whimsical about these little people that totally captures my heart.  And speaking of hearts, another favorite comes to mind - the Hearts Combo.  I just love the shape of these puffy hearts and the companion stamps are a great bonus!  Another favorite of mine is the Sterling Silver Cord.  With a little more pizzazz than regular cotton twine, this metallic cord is perfect for when you are wanting a little added sparkle and shine.

Here is a little project sharing my favorites mentioned above, along with a few other products that I can't live without *wink*

    Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop!

    Hey there!  Today is PTI blog hop day and the challenge this month was to create a project that "tilted".  I had to ink up my new sets, Star Gazer and Star Gazer Additions.  I also got a little help from the Mama Elephant Cosmic Stars stamp set.  These sets compliment eachother perfectly ;)

    I made a card and matching tag for my Mom's birthday in June :)

    First, I sponged a piece of white cardstock with different colors of distress ink, then adhered that on a slight tilt to the card front.  The focal point is made using the medium and large Seeing Stars dies.  Using the cloud dies, I cut clouds from the BEAUTIFUL white shimmer cardstock.  LOVE!

    (Click to enlarge)

    For the matching tag, I used Mat Stack 3.

    For my card, I used a pale lime green cardstock from Bazzill along with the Butterfly Dreams and Beautiful Butterflies stamp sets from Papertrey Ink.  The leaves are from a Paper Smooches set called Reflections.  I shaded the leaves with a few flicks of a copic marker.

    Love you to the stars & back... {Papertrey Ink}

    Hello there!!  I had some crafty time over the weekend, and also received my April Papertrey Ink order.  I only ordered 2 stamp sets from this release, but boy do I love them!  This card uses the new Star Gazer and Star Gazer Additions sets along with Boy Basics: Out of this World.

    I can already see so many possibilities with these sets.  They really filled in a gap in my stamp collection as I have nothing like them.  I plan to tuck this card in my husband's away bag when he isn't looking so he can find it later ;)

    I will have another card to share using these new sets on the 25th for the PTI blog hop.  Super excited! :)

    Have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!! :)

    All about Alphabets! {Clear and Simple Stamps}

    Hey there!  Happy Tuesday!  Today is group post day with Clear and Simple Stamps.  For this challenge, we are all about alphabets!  I pulled out all of the CSS Alphabets that I own and whipped up this card, perfect for a little boy.

    My card uses the Alpha Duo, Alpha Dots and Alpha Bold stamp sets, as well as Cart Pals: Baby, Cart Parts and the Doily stamp..  Everything was distressed with Ranger distress inks to make it look more vintage.

    You are invited to a Summer Cocktail Party!

    For my party invite, I used the Ragdoll Stand stamp set along with the new Taglines: By the Glass.  The grass skirt was made with a few snips using the Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors, and I added some Glossy Accents and Stickles for some extra bling.

    Once you get to the party, be sure to find your place card and take a seat.

    I made these place cards using the By the Glass and By the Glass Too stamps sets and the new matching dies.

    Once you have found a place to sit, please enjoy this little place setting party favor.

    It is hard to see in the picture, but this little Pina Colada is actually the Favor Party 8 box.  I used the Build -a-Critter Owl die for the coconut.  I cut off the top portion of his head (sorry Mr. Owl) and then scored on a diagonal and inked each score line for some extra dimension.  The lemon slice is a diecut circle and the seeds from the Strawberry (Fruit Appliques 2) die.  The coconut is actually adhered to the front flap of the favor box.

    When you've had enough partying, and it's time to leave, don't forget to take your thank you gift!

    (Click to enlarge)

    I put some tiny drink mixers in a little sand bucket and created a tag using the By the Glass dies.  Some ribbon, paper shred and a mini pinwheel and voila! :)

    I sure hope you enjoyed my luau!  Be sure to hop around to visit these other girls and see what kinds of parties they are throwing!

    Pinspired Challenge #7

    Hey there!  It's time again for another Pinspired Challenge!  I adsolutely LOVE the inspiration photo for this challenge.  So many possibilities!

    This challenge is sponsored by Timeless Twine!

    For my card today, I pulled out one of my very favorite Paper Smooches stamp sets, Sunny Side Up.  I knew I wanted to use Timeless Twine's Raspberry Lemonade twine, so I went with that color scheme.  The yellow polkadot paper is from Lawn Fawn's Pink Lemonade paper pad.

    Release in Review & APP Peek! {Clear and Simple Stamps}

    Hello there!  Happy Monday!  Today we start the CSS Favorites Release in Review!
    I have really enjoyed working with the products from this release.  Today the team is focusing on the By the Glass dies and Taglines: By the Glass.

    For my project today, I wanted to show that you can use the By the Glass dies without having the matching stamps.  I cut the martini glass from vellum and adhered them using a glue dot onto a clear card front.  To make the olives, I used the center cut-outs from the Eyelet Border dies and then added a toothpick to make it look like the real deal.  The zigzag stamp is from Designer Lines and I used Alpha Duo for the sentiment and colored the letters in with colored pencils.

    I thought it would be fun to jazz up a jar of olives to go with the card.  This would be a fun and inexpensive hostess gift!  I stamped the mini martini glass and a sentiment from Taglines: By the Glass onto a piece of fabric and then colored with copics.

    I hope you enjoyed my project today!  Be sure to visit these ladies for tons more inspiration:
