Guest Designing for Sweet Stamp Shop!
I am SO excited to share a fun project with you today! I have been asked to guest design for the Sweet Stamp Shop today, and was lucky enough to get to be part of their teaming up with Petaloo and Core'dinations for some fun back to school projects.
Here is my little back to school ensemble! I used the new Under the Sea (LOVE!) stamp set for my projects.
It all started with a trip to Target. Believe it or not, that is how alot of my projects start! *wink* I came across new special edition Crayola Crayons called "Mermaid Shimmer".
Then I found a spiral sketch book that just so happened to have a submarine on the front in the same color theme as the mermaid crayons... With the help of the Core'dinations cardstock and Under the Sea, this altered notebook was born. I love the colored core in the Core'dinations cardstock... it really adds so much dimension and texture to the project.
Using the new set called Pattern Craze along with the coordinating Shape-tastic Hexagon dies, I made a little seahorse tag to bundle together some fun glittery pencils. You will notice the distressed edges of the tag... that was super easy using the Core'dinations sanding block! It may be hard to see in the pictures, but I also distressed each of the mermaid's tails using the sanding block.
And, finally, a little mini card to go with everything... perfect for a first day of school present for any little girl.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to hop on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog to check out all of the school themed goodness happening over there! :)
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet Stamp Shop Under the Sea, Pattern Craze
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Core'dinations Cardstock (various colors)
Dies: SSS Shape-tastic Hexagon Dies
Other: Core'dinations Sanding Block, Copic Markers, Various PTI Ribbons, Twinery Twine

Sweet Tart {Sweet Stamp Shop}
Hi there! Happy Tuesday! So fortunately, Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaac skirted around us and we didn't get anything more than some heavy rain... but what is better than staying inside and getting inky all day?!? Yep, that's what I did yesterday. ;) I wanted to play along with the new Sweet Stamp Shop Challenge, and while I do have a bunch of SSS stamps, I chose to use their cute, new, FREE digi called Sweet Tart. This week's challange was Paper Piecing, so I printed out the adorable citrus slices on fun patterned paper and colored parts with Copic Markers.
Check back tomorrow for more Sweet Stamp Shop goodies!! :)
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet Stamp Shop digi Sweet Tart
Paper: PTI White, True Black, Simply Chartruese, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise pattern paper packs
Other: Copic Markers, PTI Orange Zest Buttons, DMC Floss, Pop Dots

What's the Buzz? {Clear and Simple Stamps}
Hello there! Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! We are preparing for Hurricane Isaac here in Florida. Doesn't look like it will hit us directly, but we sure will feel it with the wind and rain expected. While I still have electricity (*wink*) I wanted to share a card with you that I made a week or so ago. I used Clear and Simple Stamps Critters: Taglines, Background Basics I, and bits and pieces of a few of the Ragdoll: Carlie Hello set to make the sentiment. The heart diecut is their Shapes: Heart Combo.
That's all for now... thanks for stopping by! :)

Circus Peanuts {The Alley Way Stamps}
Hey there!
Before I get into details about the project I have to share with you today, I want to appologize for my photos. It has been rainy here (thank you Hurricane Season!) and the skies are dark and grey... not the best for picture taking, so the artificial light is making every picture look yellow-ish... Hoping for sunny skies soon!
Anywho, I have a fun treat bag to share with you today using TAWS Admit One stamp set. I have never been a fan of those orange circus peanuts, but my husband and sons love them (they are impatiently waiting for this post to go up so they can tear into the treat bag I spend so much time on... LOL!) This would be such a great party favor for a circus themed event...
That's it for today... Gearing up for a possible hurricane coming our way :(

I have never really gotten into digital stamps, but I watched a few youtube videos and decided to give it a go... SO fun! :) Here is my first card using digital stamps... PDCC #144 & CFC #65
Hello there! Today I have a card to share that I made with two different challenges in mind. I will share all of the details of those challenges with you below. For this card, I cut a 4" x 8" piece of cardstock and scored it in half to make a 4" x 4" square card. I stamped, colored and cut out the word "Hello" from CSS' Ragdoll Carlie: Hello, and diecut clouds and a sun from PTI dies.
The color scheme is inspired by this week's Playdate Cafe Challenge #144 - Pink, Orange and Yellow.
And this week over at CAS-ual Fridays, the challenge is to make a square card - CAS Challenge #65.

Ahoy, Birthday Boy!
Hello there! Happy Monday! I always try to look at my stamps as one big collection rather than individual sets. I look for ways to stretch my stamps, and I often use stamps from various companies on one project. I pulled out one of my favorite PTI sets, Tremendous Treats: Birthday. I wanted to use an image that I had never used before, so I settled on the adorable little pirate. Then it came to me... why not make Clear and Simple Stamps Ragdoll Wesley into a Pirate!? I stamped and colored Wesley and cut him out. I masked off the skull and crossbones from the pirate hat and stamped it on Wesley's shirt. Then I stamped the PTI Pirate and cut out his hat and eye patch to use on Wesley. I cut a panel for Wesley to stand on, and stamped the woodgrain image from CSS' Background Basics I to make it look like Wesley was walking the plank ;) To make the sky, I diecut PTI Clouds and used them as masks, sponging with distress ink and then removing them. The sentiment is from PTI Tiny Treats: Birthday.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great day! :)

You're My Favorite {Clear and Simple Stamps}
Hello there! Happy Saturday morning! :) I made this card for my sweet husband. I always tell him that he is my favorite... well, because, he is. I am blessed beyond measure. So I made this little card to give him just to let him know how much I love him, and remind him that he has my whole heart. I used the Clear and Simple Emma: Happy Combo, the CSS Heart Combo and the sentiment is from one of Papertrey Ink's Anniversary sets from several years ago. I carefully cut along Emma's arm and slipped a diecut heart underneath to make it look like she is carrying it.
That's all for now... Off to a birthday party at the lake! :)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Palette Charcoal

Happy Birthday to You {Clear & Simple Stamps}
Hello there! Today I have a few little projects to share with you. I made gift tags and a matching card for my sister's birthday gifts. Ashley's favorite color is lime green, and her entire apartment is decorated in Damask and chartreuse, black, gray and white. If course, her presents had to be decorated the same way! :) Usually she displays my handmade cards on her kitchen island, and ya know, things had to match! :) I diecut PTI's Tag Sale #3 out of white cardstock, and then added the damask print paper from the Smokey Shadow Pattern Pack. For the sentiment, I used Clear and Simple Stamps Ragdoll Emma: HAPPY set. I LOVE that you get the solid and outline of each word. I colored the outlined word with 4 shades of Copic marker for a lime green gradient effect.
Then I made a matching card with all of the same elements. I added Ragdoll Emma in a fun green striped dress :)
Off to sit by the pool and enjoy my wonderful family today. Thanks for stopping by!! :)
Supplies:
Stamps: CSS Ragdoll Emma: HAPPY
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, PTI Simply Chartreuse
Paper: PTI White, Simply Chartreuse, Smokey Shadow & Simply Chartreuse Pattern Packs

CFC#64 - You Are My Sunshine {Clear & Simple Stamps}
Good Saturday Morning to you! I am so excited to share this card with you today. I just got *another* order from Clear and Simple Stamps filled with some goodies that have been on my wishlist for some time now... Of course, they needed to see ink right away! :)
So my friend, Laurie, has been raving about CSS' watermark ink, From an Anonymous Source. My Versamark pad is getting a bit dry, so I added this to my order, and boy is it awesome! I am so happy with the results. In order to test it out, I wanted to do a technique that I love, but rarely do - Emboss Resist. I inked up the Paisley image from Background Basics 1 using the clear ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. After that, I used 3 different colors of Ranger Distress Ink to create a gradient background. So fun! After that, I stamped the umbrella image from Cart Parts onto pattern paper and cut it out. I diecut some Papertrey Ink Clouds and a Sun and popped everything up on foam dots. For the sentiment, I selectively inked bits and pieces from the CSS' Wesley and Carlie Ragdolls sets to create a custom sentiment.
I made this card with the current CAS-ual Friday Challenge #64 - Cloud 9 in mind. :)
That's all for now! Hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Cow Treat Bucket {TAWS Stamps}
Hello there! Today I have a SUPER fun project to share with you using a new August release from The Alley Way Stamps called Cover-Ups. It is available NOW in TAWS store.
There are so many possibilities with this set. I am already envisioning cute little treats and party favors for all occasions. For my project today, I used a little metal take-out container that I got at Michael's. The label stamps in the Cover-Ups set fit perfectly on standard white office labels, and those labels wrap perfectly around Hershey's Nugget chocolate candies. I chose to use the honeycomb image, and the little cow, which is a scaled down version of my favorite TAWS stamp - the cow from Get MOOvin. This little bucket held all but a few of an entire bag of candies. For the little tag, I used a sentiment from the set along with a Tiny Tag diecut from Papertrey Ink.
I will also be entering this project into the current Come and Get It Challenge - Anything but a Card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with a new TAWS Be Inspired Challenge! Play along for your chance to win some super fun stamps! :) Have a great day!!
