Papertrey Ink July Blog Hop
This summer is just flying by! The kiddos head back to school in less than an month, and it's time again for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.
For the month of July, we were challenged to use this photo as a source of inspiration for our project:
I chose to use the colors from the photo as a jumping off point. Also, the PTI Mehndi Medallion Stamp Set reminded me of the quilt in the picture. I used copic markers to color in the Medallion and it was so much fun... definately doing that again! An Aqua Mist scalloped border to match the wall color, and a pop of orange like the curtains, and I was done! :)
Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Mehndi Medallion, Tiny Tags
Paper: Stampers Select White, Aqua Mist
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Aqua Mist, Orange Zest
Other: Tiny Tags die, Copic Markers, Fresh Snow Twill Ribbon, 1/8" Silk Ribbon

Thank heaven for Us
Today, my huband and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. I love that man more than I ever thought possible. *happy sigh*
I wanted to make him an anniverary card, and having just gotten my July Papertrey Ink order, I had to break into my new goodies! I used their new clothesline set, Hanging Out, and of course, my favorite Little Bitty Bird.
I selectively inked the sentiment to create my own, "Thank heaven for us." I certainly do... every day. :)
And on the inside, I just stamped a circle frame from Label Basics, and a sentiment from Little Labels. That left me pleny of room for a super mushy love note ;)
Supplies (all PTI unless noted):
Stamps: Hanging Out, Little Bitty Bird, Label Basics, Little Labels, Fresh Alphabet
Paper: Stampers Select White, Kraft, Happy Spots
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Ripe Avocado, Tea Tye Duo
Other: Banner Borders Die, Corner Rounder, Copic Markers
